History 📖

Oleksandr has lived in Seredyna-Buda since childhood. He works as a school teacher and has no family.

The town is under constant shelling. One of the largest was on 1 September 2023, when his apartment was heavily damaged, namely, 16 windows and a balcony door were smashed.

Oleksandr was at home at the time, and as a result, he suffered from psychological trauma, insomnia, constant fear and depression.

At first, the man replaced the windows on his own, but due to the constant shelling, he just started to cover the windows with film. He turned to the Foundation for help, as the apartment was in an uninhabitable condition.
