Svitlana, a pensioner from the town of Seredina-Buda in Sumy region, turned to the Foundation for help. The woman has a group III disability and lives with her husband.
On 29 May 2023, their house came under shelling, damaging 3 windows, the front door, the fence and the roof. The family did not suffer any physical injuries, but they suffered psychological ones: arrhythmia, shortness of breath, they take sedatives and heart medication.
They repaired the roof and boarded up the windows of the yusbah on their own. The pensioners do not have the funds for a full repair, so they are asking for help from everyone who cares.
