History 📖

The Yehupovs had been living in their apartment in Borova, Izium district over 40 years. They brought their newborn daughter here, she married here and settled here with their young spouse, and later gave birth to their grandparents' joy, their grandson. But when the Russian invaders moved into the Kharkiv region, the family had to leave their family home. In the autumn of 2022, the village of Borova was liberated by the Ukrainian military, but the Russians continued to shell it. A year after the de-occupation, an explosion damaged the high-rise building where the apartment was located - windows and internal doors were blown out, and the loggia was damaged. The pensioners temporarily boarded up the windows, but it is impossible to live there.

Currently, the entire family lives in a rented apartment in Lozova, and pays for both, as the damaged apartment in Borova continues to be charged for utility bills.
