History 📖
Maria from the town of Seredina-Buda in Sumy region turned to the Foundation for help. The woman is on maternity leave, her child is only 1 year old. She lives with her husband, who is currently in the military, her child and her mother.
In July 2023, their house was damaged by enemy shelling. Four windows, the front door, the roof and the parka were damaged. There are holes in the walls, the gas pipeline is damaged, and there is no electricity.
The family was forced to move to the city of Sumy as IDPs.
They repaired the roof and boarded up the windows with chipboard on their own. But the house remains in an uninhabitable condition, especially with little help. Maria asks for help from everyone who cares.
