Valentina Vladimirovna, who is 63 years old, has lived in Stara Guta since childhood. She got married and raised 3 children with her husband. Now they live independently. She worked as a nurse and is now retired.Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russians have frequently shelled the border of Sumy region. In August 2023, an enemy shell exploded right in front of their house. The retired couple was not physically injured, but they could not continue living under constant shelling and evacuated to a safer place. Moreover, the house was damaged by the explosion: windows were smashed and the fence was destroyed.
