Valery, a 70-year-old man from the town of Seredina-Buda in Sumy region, turned to the Foundation for help. The man has lived here since birth. He used to work as a gas and electric welder and is now retired.
On 1 September 2023, his apartment with his wife came under enemy fire. The windows were damaged. The man was in the stairwell at the time and was severely stressed.
The family continues to live in their apartment, they have covered the windows with film and replaced 1 double-glazed window. They do not have the financial means to repair the rest of the damage, so they are asking for help.
