Svitlana, 75, from the town of Seredina-Buda in Sumy Oblast, turned to the Foundation for help. The woman lives alone, has a group I disability, and has not left the house for 3 years.
On 1 September 2023, her apartment came under shelling. The window, loggia and balcony were damaged. The woman and her niece were at home at the time, fortunately, they were not injured.
The woman was helped to board up and seal the windows, but the damage needs to be repaired. The woman's condition does not allow her to repair the windows on her own, so Svetlana is asking for help from all those who care.
