History 📖

Mykhailo from the village of Chernatske in Sumy region turned to the Foundation for help. The man works as a forester, lives with his wife, his children and grandchildren left the village.

On 27 February 2024, the family home came under enemy fire twice, first at 3:00 am and then at 18:00. In total, 11 windows, the front door, the fence and 100 sheets of slate on the roof were damaged. Fortunately, the couple were not injured.

Mykhailo sealed the windows with foil on his own, but there are still problems with heat and noise insulation. The family does not have the financial means to fully repair the house, so they are asking for help.
