Mykhailo Stepanovich is 74 years old. In 1986, after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the man was the liquidator of the consequences of that terrible tragedy. He completely lost his sight. He underwent long-term treatment and surgery - his vision was restored, but only a small percentage. The man has been living in Seredino-Buda, Sumy Oblast, for 40 years. He has a wife and grown children. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of our country, the city has been shelled almost daily. In the winter of 2024, a pensioner's house was also damaged by shelling. One window in his house was damaged. The man is unable to replace the damaged window by himself, so he asks for help from the Foundation.
