History 📖
Iryna from Liubotyn, Kharkiv region, turned to the Foundation for help. The woman is currently on maternity leave. She lives with her two children (3 years old), whom she is raising alone, and her father, who is in serious condition, having had his leg amputated up to the middle of the thigh.
On 17 March 2022, their apartment was damaged when a rocket hit the neighbouring entrance of an apartment block. Two windows were damaged, plaster and tiles in the kitchen fell off, and a flood occurred, which swelled the parquet and damaged the wallpaper. The family moved to western Ukraine at the time.
Currently, Iryna's father lives in her hometown, while she and her children live in another.
The windows have been covered with film and chipboard, but they still need a full repair, which the family does not have the money for. So they are asking for help.
