We are launching a fundraiser for an evacuation vehicle to rescue animals!

We are asking you to join the fundraising as the entire territory of Sumy region (Ukraine) is in a very difficult situation caused by the military operations!

Hundreds of pets abandoned in Sumy region's border villages die terribly and need help. We are launching a fundraiser for an evacuation vehicle for an animals rescue.

A significant increase in shelling of the border in recent times has turned the region's territories into a living hell. Civilian settlements are shelled by rocket attacks and guided bombs; continuously under attack by cannon artillery, MRL, and mortars; FPV drones. 

This has resulted in the emergency evacuation of 22 villages, which have been almost completely wiped out. Many people, painful as it is to say, leave their pets chained and locked in houses, cellars, and cages while fleeing for their lives. The animals are left without food and water under endless shelling, doomed to a painful death.  

Those who rescue their wards are forced to walk tens of kilometers with cattle, dogs, and cats.

There are cases when owners simply let the animals go and leave them, hoping that they will somehow survive. Witnesses say that packs of hungry dogs roam the deserted streets of the villages, tearing up poultry and smaller animals. 

There is no organised evacuation of abandoned animals from the state or local authorities at all. 

Volunteers, kind-hearted people, go to dangerous villages to evacuate, rescue, take out animals, and if not possible, feed and water them on the spot.  

Currently, the most urgent need for volunteers is a vehicle for evacuating animals! 

We are collecting donations to purchase an animal evacuation vehicle for the Sumy Society for the Protection of Animals. 

The fundraiser goal is  60 000 € (64 000 $).

The situation is getting worse every hour, given the fact that the border is being shelled with phosphorus bombs, burning out all living things.
