History 📖

The invaders placed heavy artillery here right in people's yards and gardens and fired at neighbouring streets and districts. For more than a month, the townspeople lived in hellish fear, barely leaving their cold basements.  26-year-old Olga hid in the cellar under the summer kitchen with her two young sons. They survived only because of this place. The shell explosion left their house without a roof, windows and doors.  But the worst part is that it scared the children: The 8-year-old boy stopped talking, and the older, 6-year-old, now reacts sharply to loud sounds. Both of them visit psychologists and a speech therapist. Olha, a single mother, is currently unemployed and takes care of her children. She is unable to repair the house herself. Temporarily, the family took refuge in her grandmother's house, where three minor children are still growing up.
