73-year-old Lyudmila Oleksandrivna has a group I disability and is blind. Together with her daughter, she was under occupation for 8.5 months. The family lives in a city where active hostilities are taking place. On 24 November 2022, during another shelling, the woman's house was damaged, 11 windows were smashed. The pensioner was at home at the time, fortunately, she did not suffer any physical harm. But as a result, Lyudmyla has insomnia and is afraid to go out because of the constant shelling.
In addition to her disability, Lyudmyla has a number of other illnesses and needs constant treatment. Currently, the windows in her home are covered with film and cannot be replaced. The pensioner did not receive any assistance from the governement.
