The daughter of 76-year-old Marta Ivanivna turned to the Foundation for help.
In August 2023, the pensioner's house came under shelling, 4 windows and the roof were damaged. The shock wave threw the woman into another room, and in a state of shock she ran to the basement. The pensioner sustained injuries to her arm and leg, which had to be stitched up. In addition, the woman now suffers from insomnia and anxiety. She is currently recovering in Zakarpattia.
Marta Ivanivna was helped to board up the windows with OSB boards and foam the roof. However, the pensioner is not able to fully restore the house.
