Iskryvshchyna is a border village of the Sumy region, which is constantly shelled by the invaders from the Russian Federation.
Kateryna Ivanovna lived in this village for over forty years. Now retired, worked at a bakery. Lives with her husband.
In December 2022, as a result of enemy shelling, a woman's house was damaged, namely six windows, an entrance door, a ceiling pierced by shrapnel, a fence, a shed. The couple was at home, but managed to hide in the basement, thus saving their lives. They closed the chipboard windows by themselves.
Now the couple has separated, but dreams of returning home. They appeal to everyone who cares to help in the restoration of housing.
