History 📖

Yulia from the town of Velyka Oleksandrivka in Kherson region turned to the Foundation for help. The woman lives with her mother, who has schizophrenia, her husband, who has a group II disability, and 2 children (2 and 1). Yulia is on maternity leave and has the status of a low-income family.

On 29 June 2022, during the shelling, a shell hit the family's summer kitchen and exploded in one of the rooms. It damaged: 4 windows, 1 door, 90 m² of roof, ceiling, garage and utility room.

The family managed to leave during the occupation and lived in Kryvyi Rih for 10 months. After returning, they restored the house with their own efforts: they replaced windows, doors, utility rooms and the roof. Since the restoration was not done by specialists (due to the occupation, there are problems with this), there are some nuances, for example, the roof leaked all winter. Because of this, the family was denied eRestoration.

The house remains in an uninhabitable condition, especially with small children. Yulia asks for help from everyone who cares, at least in restoring the ceiling and roof.
