History 📖

Mykola lived almost all his life in the village of Popivka, Sumy region.

In June 2023, Mykola's house came under fire. 23 windows, 2 doors, almost 90% of the roof, the kitchen, the outbuilding and of the animal pens were damaged.

The man himself was at home at the time, hiding in the cellar, where a shell hit, which fortunately did not penetrate the defences. As a result, the victim suffered from severe fright and headaches, and had to seek medical treatment.

Mykola wrapped the windows with film on his own, but he does not have enough money for a full repair, as the house was heavily damaged. So he turned to the Foundation for help.
