The pensioner couple lives in the Znob-Novgorod community in Sumy region. The shelling of the village where they live took place on May 11, 2023. The wife, Olha Volodymyrivna, was working in the garden at the time. Her husband, who has a disability, suffered a concussion from the explosion and was very scared.
The windows and roof of the house were smashed and the fence was damaged. They were able to repair the roof and some of the windows themselves. The pensioners can't manage to repair the rest of the windows themselves. They are asking for help.
