Olena has been living in the village of Znob-Novhorodske in Sumy region for about 40 years. She works as a teacher at a local school, which, unfortunately, is planned to be closed.
In November 2022, her house came under shelling. The family was at home at the time, and as a result, she suffered psychological trauma and depression. Three windows, the front door and the roof of the house were damaged.
The family restored the roof with slate and covered the windows with plywood. They had no money to repair all the damage, so they turned to the Foundation for help.
