Olena has been living in Znob-Novhorodske for 16 years. Here she gave birth to and is raising 2 children - 12 and 14 years old. She works as a salesperson in a local store. In the summer of 2023, the village was repeatedly shelled by Russians. One of the explosions hit the family's house. The woman and her children were at home at the time. Everyone was very scared, but they were not physically injured. Two windows were smashed in the house. Olena sealed the windows with plastic on her own, but this is only a temporary measure. The family needs help to replace the windows.
