Svitlana from the village of Sadove, Kherson region, turned to the Foundation for help. The pensioner and her husband have lived here all their lives.
In August 2023, there were 6 munitionsat the family home. The fence, 3 windows, a door and 120 m² of the roof were damaged. The pensioners were at home at the time and barely managed to hide because they have health problems.
The family applied for state restoration, but due to the ongoing active hostilities in the Kherson region, it was impossible to receive compensation. They do not have the money to repair the damage on their own, so Svitlana and her husband are asking for help from everyone who cares.
