Vera Mikhailovna has been living in Kherson for half a century. Together with her husband, they built a cozy house, arranged a green yard with grapes in the summer, and tended an orchard. Their quiet peaceful life was disrupted by the war with the Russians. At first, the Russians occupied the town, and when they were driven out, they began shelling residential areas almost daily. Shells have already exploded twice near the Tychykh family's house - in January 2023 and January 2024. During the first one, the couple was at home, and they were very frightened by the explosions, which affected the nervous system of both pensioners. Windows and doors were smashed in the house, and the roof was damaged. The residents repaired the damage with scrap materials, but it is not enough. The family needs help.
