Krystyna Oleksandrivna has lived in the village of Cherkaska Lozova in the Kharkiv region since 2021. She lives alone with her two ten-year-old children. In just one month, in March 2022, their home was shelled three times by the Russian occupiers. The house and garage were damaged.
The people themselves were hiding in the basement. Everyone was very scared, and one child had temporary health problems after the stress.
But despite everything, some of the broken windows on the first floor of the house have already been replaced. There are still two damaged windows and the front door. The second floor suffered more damage. In addition to the two broken windows, a corner of the house was simply demolished and now it needs to be rebuilt. On top of that, the strike damaged 140 square meters of the roof. The family is forced to ask for help.
