"We are a Kharkiv family with two children aged 10 and 12. Our house was damaged by the explosion. We didn't leave the city, we now live with our retired parents. One of them has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. We would be very grateful for your help," Yulia, affected.

Yulia has lived in Kharkiv since childhood and worked as a saleswoman before the war. She is currently unemployed. The shelling that brought the family grief occurred on 2 September 2022. During the shelling, the family was near the house, Yulia's mother was in the apartment: she was concussed and injured by glass. The explosion was very powerful: 4 windows were smashed in the apartment, all the interior and exterior doors, the wall in the vestibule was torn out and cracked. The family was able to replace the windows at their own expense, but they need help to restore the doors.
