The house of an elderly woman, born in 1950, came under shelling on February 24, 2022. The whole house was cut by shrapnel, 3 windows and two doors were damaged, the roof was smashed, the heating system was also damaged. The veranda of the house and the shed were damaged. The pensioner repaired the roof and heating system at her own expense. However, the windows and doors remained unrepaired. The windows are currently covered with plywood, but plywood does not protect the house from cold and moisture.
Olha lives in the house alone. She has lived in Izium since she was 17 years old. During the shelling, she was at home and received shrapnel wounds and contusion. Olga has no money to repair the windows and doors. It is winter outside, so she needs help with the windows now.
