History 📖
Galina from the town of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast turned to the Foundation for help. Before the war, she worked as a hotel administrator, but the hotel closed because of the war. Galina and her husband live in a rented house, as enemy shelling destroyed their home.
The first shelling with cluster munitions took place in October 2022.
On 22 February 2023, Halyna's house was hit by a direct mortar shell.
And on 30 September, an aerial bomb was dropped on the woman's house. During the first 2 shellings, the family was at home and was very frightened. At the time of the third strike, they left.
The shelling destroyed 6 windows and 80 m² of the roof. The condition of the house is uninhabitable. The couple does not have the financial means to repair the house, so they are asking for help.
