On January 12, 2024, Russians shelled the village of Yamne in the Velykopysarivska community. One of the explosions hit the house where the Pakholkivs live. Before the war, they ran their own farm, but after the full-scale invasion it became too difficult to do so. They are critically short of funds. At the time of the explosion, both family members were at home, they were not physically injured, but they experienced stress. Windows and doors were blown out of the house, the roof was destroyed, and a wall was blown away. The family needs help.
