Myropillia on the border of Sumy region is only a few kilometers from the aggressor country. The village suffers daily from Russian attacks. The occupants destroy everything that people have been building up for years.
Valeriy Hryhorovych has been living here for a long time - about 50 years. He and his wife raised three children. They are now adults, and now the couple lives alone. The man has a teacher's degree, but he is retired.
In July 2023, his house came under enemy attack. They managed to hide in the basement, so fortunately they were not injured. However, two windows and a balcony frame were damaged. The damage was temporarily covered with polyethylene. Now they need help.
