Before retirement, Galina Nikolaevna did what she loved - working with children in a kindergarten. For some time, she headed this educational institution in her native village in Sumy region. She is now 68. She has lived in Myropillia all her life and raised her daughters here (they are now adults). Now she lives alone in her own house. And everything would be fine if the war hadn't started. Russians often shell the village where the pensioner lives. On March 2, 2023, an explosion hit Halyna Mykolaivna's house. She managed to hide in the cellar and was not physically injured, although she experienced a great shock. The roof and windows of the house were damaged. Kind people helped the pensioner replace the windows, and she needs help to restore the roof.
