History 📖
Lidiya Vasylivna is a social worker. She has lived in Myropillia, on the border of Sumy region, for 59 years. She lived with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. But her daughter-in-law and her children were forced to leave the village because of the danger to their lives and health. Their village is constantly under attack from the aggressor country.
In early September 2022, the occupiers struck right next to Lidia's house. The woman was working in her garden. Debris destroyed the roof of her house, windows, and damaged the chimney. The garage, shed and fence in the yard were smashed.
People tried to cope on their own, not asking for help. They repaired the windows and fence on their own and covered the holes in the garage walls with metal. They also repaired the 14-square-meter roof themselves. However, the roof needs serious repairs and is now leaking. The outbuilding in the yard is also damaged. The family is asking for help to be able to live in their home.
