Valentina Mikhailovna, 72, has lived in the village of Myropillya in Sumy region all her life. She does not want to leave her home even now. Unfortunately, the Russian invaders do not allow her to live in peace. On January 8, 2023, the village came under heavy shelling from Russia. The pensioner was at home at the time. When the explosions started, she managed to hide in the basement. Perhaps this is what saved her life. Because when she came out, she did not recognize her house: holes in the walls, a destroyed roof, broken windows, a damaged gas pipeline, and household appliances, including a refrigerator, cut by shrapnel.
