Oleksandr, a pensioner, has lived in the town of Seredyna-Buda in Sumy region all his life.
His and his wife's house came under fire twice, in September and October 2023. In total, 3 windows and the roof were damaged. The family received a very strong psychological shock. They were forced to leave the city as IDPs due to constant shelling.
They covered the roof with slate and covered the windows with film on their own. They have no money to fully repair the damage, so they are asking for help from everyone who cares.
