70-year-old Nadia has lived in the town of Seredina-Buda in Sumy region for almost all of her life. The woman is almost unable to walk and has 4 hernias. She lives with her husband and daughter, who also has mobility problems.
On 19 June 2022, the family's house came under shelling. 2 windows, 2 doors, the roof, walls and fence were damaged. The family was at home at the time, they did not suffer any physical injuries, but they did suffer psychological injuries, and Nadiya had a nervous breakdown.
The family has sealed the windows with film and covered the holes in the roof with their own efforts, but they have no money for full repairs. Nadiia asks for help from everyone who cares, because the house remains in an uninhabitable condition.
